After searching around for a while I found two tools I really like. lessprojects.com is a simple project management system and it's completely free. Another site that I think is great is paymo.biz. It's great for freelance people because it allows you to add projects, tasks, clients and it also creates invoices (I know a lot of the sites out there offer this). However the thing I like best about it is they have a downloadable desktop widget for adding tasks and tracking your time.

I've tried a number of these tools and found limitations to most that made me move on to another. I've also tried others not on the list provided Nozbe definitely was the best for me. Not to say the others are bad, just that people like to manage their tasks in different ways. You should give them all a try and see what fits you the most.
